How to fix crosive stainless steel? - stainless steel bathtub

I have a cleaner in my bathtub and I did not know what would crosive drain stainless steel. Now half shinny and the other half is gray and boring. Is there anything I can do to fix it to make it look better?

Did you mean: "corrosion" SS not. Are you sure it's SS? If you are a non-chlorine bleach base was set too high, may be able to varnish with an abrasive paste for stainless steel sinks. If this fails, you can always change the setting.
